Part 1 - Growing ourselves

WHY GROWTH?

When individuals embrace Growth Leadership and form a clear vision of their true purpose, it changes the way they relate to themselves and others. Leading from a Growth Mindset allows each of us to be more creative, productive and imaginative, bring our best to each and every moment.

Part 2 - Cultivating a Growth Culture

WHY A GROWTH CULTURE?

Cultivating a Growth Culture builds trust, encourages curiosity and enables innovation by creating an environment in which people communicate clearly, honestly and with respect. A Growth Culture yields engagement, retention and high performance.

A recent Gallup study of 400 companies and 8,000 managers asked how the world’s greatest managers find, focus and retain employees. Six of the study’s twelve findings related specifically to growth:

  1. Having the opportunity to do my best work every day
  2. Receiving praise or recognition for having done good work in the last 7 days
  3. Feeling my supervisor/someone at work cares about me as a person
  4. Believing that someone at work cares about my development
  5. Talking to someone about my progress in the last 6 months
  6. Having opportunities to learn and grow in the last year

This course runs over a period of 5 months and includes 27.5 contact hours of live webinars. The course includes an additional 12 hours of content in the form of peer-group discussion and self-directed study to reinforce learning. We estimate 3-5 hours of effort each week to maximize your learnings.

ABOUT THE COURSE EXPERIENCE

Throughout the 2-part 20 week program, you will learn from the great leaders of the past, such as Franklin D. Roosevelt, Nelson Mandela, and Anne Frank as well as from contemporary leaders, such as Chris Capossela, Chief Marketing Officer of Microsoft, Rob Tarkoff, CEO of Lithium and Gene White, President of the Global Child Nutrition Foundation. Also, you will learn to apply insights on Growth Leadership from psychology, neuroscience, systems theory and business administration.

Using several modes of learning, including interactive live and recorded webinars, peer group discussions and self-study, you will learn in ways that work best for you to increase your capacity to role model a Growth Culture and be a coach for others, both one-on-one and one-to-many.
